Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with global and regional business objectives.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and global leadership team to support long-term growth and profitability.

  • Lead financial planning processes including annual budgeting, forecasting, and mid- to long-term financial modeling.
     

Financial Operations & Controllership

  • Oversee all accounting, tax, treasury, and internal control activities to ensure compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP, and corporate standards.

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and management reporting.

  • Implement and strengthen internal controls across 3 legal entities.
     

Manufacturing & Cost Management

  • Lead cost accounting, standard cost setting, and variance analysis for multiple production sites.

  • Partner with plant managers to improve productivity, cost structure, and capital efficiency.

  • Support decisions on sourcing, capacity planning, and manufacturing footprint optimization.
     

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with supply chain, procurement, operations, and commercial teams to optimize working capital, pricing strategy, and profitability.

  • Support business cases for new product development, capital investments, and M&A opportunities.

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions in a matrixed, multinational environment.
     

Treasury, Tax & Risk Management

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships in aligned with Qnity Electronics Treasury Group

  • Optimize tax structure and ensure full compliance with international and local tax regulations.

  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies, including insurance and compliance oversight.
     

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Manage 5 finance members in United States and 4 members in Japan

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization across global organization.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ensure effective communication among regional finance teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in multinational manufacturing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, plant finance, and global supply chain finance.

  • Expertise in US GAAP and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven success in financial planning, business partnering, and strategic leadership.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
     

Preferred

  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.

  • Experience working in foreign-owned enterprises or matrixed global organizations.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA.

  • Experience with M&A, restructuring, or transformation initiatives.
