Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering, the Director, Content Engineering is responsible for leading the technology organization for GHX’s Content Engineering portfolio. The role requires leading geo distributed engineering organizations to deliver key solutions in Content space focusing on Content Workbench, Price Workbench and Contract Management services.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction, planning and execution for Content Engineering leaders and teams to deliver business and customer focused roadmaps.
- Bring deep domain expertise and hands on experience with Software Engineering, Data products, AI in SLDC and System architecture, preferably in Supply Chain Domain.
- Strong Experience in cloud-based SaaS services, API & UI frameworks, and Microservice architectures.
- Hands on experience with GenAI and Agentic Frameworks
- Leading and mentoring geo distributed leaders and building high performance cross geo organizations.
- Develops relationships at all levels of the organization as a trusted leader and strong communication skills.
- Excel in all areas of strategy development, including project management, analysis, problem solving, verbal and written communication, consensus building, and people development.
- Understand the financial impacts and manage budgetary decisions for technology solutions and forecast future technology practices needed within the area of expertise.
Skill Requirements
- Experience in building and leading geo distributed teams to deliver critical roadmap items.
- Experience leading and mentoring leaders and managers to build high performance organizations.
- Deep domain experience in Data, SaaS and System Architecture space.
- Deep experience in building mission critical SaaS/Cloud based service
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience working with cross functional partners and executives.
- Experience with high availability architecture and design for mission critical applications.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines that do security scans, code quality scans, unit testing, and automated testing.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a relevant area.
- 15+ years of Software Engineering experience in a SaaS environment.
- 7+ years' experience in an Engineering Leadership role
- Experience managing large teams (40+ people) and scaling a business appropriately based on available resources.
- Technical Strength in cloud architectures, application architecture, engineering processes and SDLC.
- Experience with offshore development
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $214,000 plus bonus
