Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud & DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating operational processes, supporting Kubernetes-based workloads, enhancing platform reliability, and driving continuous improvements across cloud and DevOps ecosystems. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related technologies such as Helm, ArgoCD, and Flux.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Bash, or other programming languages to improve operational efficiency.
- Configure monitoring and alerting solutions and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines remain reliable, secure, and continuously optimized.
- Integrate and support Jira workflows, automation, and tooling that improve engineering productivity.
- Evaluate, onboard, and integrate third-party SaaS solutions into existing environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to implement scalable and secure platform solutions.
- Support cloud governance, compliance, and cloud security posture management initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), including module development and management.
- Experience with source control platforms such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads in production environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
- Basic database administration and SQL query experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure services such as AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Virtual Networks.
- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, ECR, IAM, and VPC.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) practices and security best practices.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent DevOps/Cloud certifications or bootcamp training may also be considered.
Nice to Have
- Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or AWS Associate-level certifications.
- Experience supporting highly available, enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of security scanning, compliance automation, and Infrastructure Security best practices.
