Job Description:

Summary/Objective
Intern Analyst will primarily be involved in review and challenge of the first/second line controls, support in executing Compliance, Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management related activities. The role will involve effectively identify, monitor, evaluate and manage the firm’s Operational risks including Compliance risk, in support of the firm’s strategic plan.

Key roles and Responsibilities:
Key data deliverables at First Citizen India: Duties include risk assessments and identify potential areas of risk within the organization, participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations.

Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects

Accountability can and may include areas such as research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, as well as technology enhancements and support

Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking, and community service events

Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program

Be assigned a project, designed to improve a specific process, or solve a problem that you will present at the close of the internship

Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with the division leader and other key stakeholders in the company to outline your accomplishments and experience during the internship.

Core Skills

A student intern who has both data analysis/management experience and who can and develop repeatable steps for monitoring, developing procedures in MS Word

Someone who is comfortable collaborating with and has excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to review systems and documentation to validate data integrity

One who possesses strong knowledge of MS Word to support compliance in developing monitoring procedures, and a proficiency in Excel/analytics, with the ability to manipulate large data sets for analysis

Student with excellent verbal and written skills, who is comfortable with presentations and

communicating research findings to all levels of personnel

Ability to deliver 100% quality work

Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask

Ability to work in a team environment and coordinating with various teams

Good understanding of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
