The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction, EPC, or bid scheduling experience, strong P6 skills, and an understanding of construction sequencing and project execution.
What You'll Do
- Develop Primavera P6 schedules for RFPs, bids, estimates, and proposals.
- Build bid schedules that reflect realistic construction sequencing, durations, milestones, and project constraints.
- Work within short and often aggressive proposal timelines to deliver schedules that fulfill the requirements of the project.
- Coordinate with estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to gather schedule inputs.
- Develop logic, activity sequencing, durations, milestones, and critical path activities.
- Evaluate construction approaches and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Support development of resource-loaded and/or cost-loaded schedules when required.
- Perform critical path analysis and schedule what-if scenarios to support bid strategy.
- Assist with schedule narratives, assumptions, and proposal deliverables.
- Ensure schedules align with project execution strategies, contractual requirements, and bid assumptions.
- Transition bid schedule information to project controls and execution teams following project award when appropriate.
What You'll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in construction scheduling, EPC scheduling, or bid/proposal scheduling.
- Primavera P6 experience required.
- Experience developing schedules specifically for bids, RFPs, estimates, or proposals is highly desirable.
- Construction or EPC project experience with a strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution.
- Ability to develop and analyze CPM schedules and identify the critical path.
- Experience working with estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Ability to work effectively under short deadlines and changing bid requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bid schedules and priorities simultaneously.
