Make an Impact on the Technology Behind Patient Care

As a Sr. Clinical System Analyst, you’ll serve as a critical connection between clinical teams and Information Technology, helping ensure the technology our caregivers rely on supports safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

In this role, you’ll work closely with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT professionals to understand complex clinical workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate clinical needs into effective technology solutions. You’ll play an important role in the support, optimization, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of clinical applications—including systems supporting medical imaging and the PACS environment.

This is an opportunity for an experienced clinical systems professional to become a trusted subject matter expert, solve complex problems, and help shape technology solutions that make a meaningful difference for patients, providers, and the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to evaluate clinical systems, workflows, and solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Configure, support, and optimize clinical information systems, including EHR, ancillary systems, clinical decision support tools, and PACS/imaging systems.

• Gather, document, and validate clinical and functional requirements and translate those requirements into technical specifications.

• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, including testing, training, and go-live support.

• Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, build specifications, and standard operating procedures.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams.

• Support data integrity, reporting, and analytics to meet clinical, operational, and regulatory needs.

• Help ensure clinical systems comply with applicable regulatory, privacy, and security standards, including HIPAA.

• Provide end-user support and training while serving as a subject matter expert for assigned clinical applications.

• Participate in change management, incident management, and downtime planning processes.

• Communicate system changes, impacts, and best practices to clinical and operational stakeholders with guidance from IT leadership.

• Promote quality improvement, staff and patient safety, and cultural diversity through department operations and personal performance.

• Provide a courteous and helpful demeanor to patients, visitors, employees, medical staff members, and others encountered while representing the organization.

• Maintain current knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, guidelines, and standards necessary to perform job duties in accordance with the Corporate Compliance Plan.

• Comply with the Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Plan, and Compliance Policies and Procedures, including required training, and participate in compliance activities as directed by department leadership and the Corporate Compliance Officer.

What You Bring

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience supporting and optimizing clinical information systems in a healthcare environment.

• Experience with an enterprise Oracle EHR platform.

• Proven ability to participate in complex initiatives and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with project management and IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL or PMP.
