Retail Operations Coordinator - 6M FTC

The Retail Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our Merrell and Saucony stores across the EMEA retail network, ensuring store teams feel connected, informed and equipped to succeed.

Working closely with the Retail Operations Manager and the wider Wolverine Worldwide Support Office teams, this role helps deliver the tools, communication, processes and day-to-day operational support that enable stores to run effectively and provide a seamless, customer-first brand experience.

As an important link between our stores and central functions, the Retail Operations Coordinator helps coordinate retail initiatives, responds to store enquiries, maintains operational resources and supports the successful execution of key business activities across multiple markets. Through a highly organised, collaborative and approachable approach, this role helps remove obstacles for store teams, keeps priorities aligned and contributes to Wolverine Worldwide's commitment to empowering our brands, our people and our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Support the day-to-day Retail Operations activity, working closely with the Retail Operations Manager to serve store teams and enable them to deliver a great, first experience.
• Build positive, open and collaborative relationships with store teams and Support Office partners, acting as a trusted and reliable point of contact for day-to-day operational support.
• Own the Retail Operations inbox, acting as the first point of contact for operational queries from store teams, ensuring requests are acknowledged, prioritised and resolved efficiently.
• Support store communications through our communications platform, helping to coordinate, prepare and publish clear, engaging and easy-to-follow messages, tools and materials for stores.
• Assist with maintaining, updating and organizing store processes and SOPs, helping to ensure guidance is accurate, accessible and genuinely useful for store teams.
• Support store activity and workload planning by coordinating actions, tracking timelines and helping ensure priorities are clear, well communicated and manageable.
• Support the management of store stationery and consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained, orders are placed in a timely way and costs are considered.
• Help coordinate Health & Safety and Security compliance activity, supporting the completion, tracking and follow-up of actions across the store estate.
• Support the management of external and third-party partners, helping ensure activity runs smoothly and stores are kept informed where needed.
• Support new store openings from a Retail Operations perspective, including helping to coordinate supplier set-up, documentation and early trading support for store teams.
• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Retail Operations & Property team, helping with reporting, tracking actions and keeping things moving efficiently.

Skills Required:

• Experience working in a retail or retail support role.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, comfortable juggling tasks, follow‑ups and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• A practical, solution‑focused approach, with a willingness to get hands‑on and resolve day‑to‑day operational challenges.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with store teams and Support Office stakeholders.
• Confident working with data, systems and tools, with good Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn new platforms.
