Food and Beverage Operation- Weekends Only

Traders Village Houston is currently looking for candidates to join our food and beverage operations. Our market has a variety of food stands, bars, and a Subway restaurant, and we are seeking dependable employees to fill positions throughout these locations. We are interested in candidates with food service, restaurant, cashier, cooking, or customer service experience, as well as individuals who are eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in choosing their desired menu items
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Prepare and serve food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure that all food products are fresh and safe for consumption
• Answer customers' questions about menu items and pricing
• Restock supplies as needed
• Work collaboratively with other concession stand workers to ensure smooth operation of the concession stand

Qualifications:

• Friendly and customer-service oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math proficiency
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours every weekend
• Ability to pass a food handler's and/or TABC test
• Previous experience in a customer-service or food service role is a plus, but not required
