Job Description
The Ivanti Neurons Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Ivanti Neurons platform to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient endpoint and service management operations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Ivanti Neurons platform, including user accounts, role-based access controls, and security configurations to ensure proper system access and data
- Monitors and maintains performance metrics for application features and recommends and takes corrective/preventive actions
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues related to Ivanti Neurons and endpoint performance, working directly with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and service disruptions
- Coordinates and monitors updates and the installation of upgrades and patches
- Evaluate vendor software releases and feature updates, assessing operational impact and facilitating adoption of new functionality
- Configure, test and deploy Neurons policies, automations, workflows, and system objects in alignment with business and technical requirements
- Recommend application enhancements or changes that may involve custom design, integrations, and third-party products
- Participate in change management processes, maintaining version control, testing documentation, and release communications
- Develop and maintain system documentation. Including configurations, processes, troubleshooting guides, and enhancement summaries
- Lead or support small to medium technical initiatives related to system as needed
- Collaborate regularly with internal leadership and stakeholders to assess platform effectiveness, review performance metrics, and identify opportunities for system improvements and new capabilities
- Ensure alignment with organizational standards for security, compliance, and operational best practices
Additional Information:
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
- Selected candidates will be required to complete an I-9 form to verify eligibility to work in the U.S.
- This position offers a hybrid-flexible schedule, with a minimum expectation of one on-campus day per week during the initial training and onboarding period to support effective integration and collaboration. As the employee becomes fully established in the role, additional remote work options may be considered based on performance, operational needs, and team alignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 + years of experience administering enterprise IT systems, endpoint management platforms, or SaaS-based applications
- Experience managing user access, role-based security, and system permissions in a multi-user environment
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues, including coordination with vendors and escalation support
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and communicating system changes to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field by date of hire
- Familiarity with ITIL or IT Service Management practices as applied in higher education
- Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS platforms, including release evaluation, testing and feature adoption
- Experience supporting or leading small to medium IT initiatives or system enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional campus partners
- Ability to create dashboards and reports that communicate system health, compliance and risks to IT leadership and governance groups
Target Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 annually
