Directs, facilitates, and evaluates comprehensive learning programs, leadership development experiences, and training initiatives that strengthen teammate capabilities and drive business performance. Serves as a lead facilitator for high-impact learning experiences, delivering engaging, learner-centered programs for leaders, executive audiences, and complex client groups. Creates an environment that fosters participation, critical thinking, skill application, and meaningful behavior change.Leads the execution of large-scale learning initiatives by facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning solutions while ensuring consistency with established learning methodologies, business objectives, and organizational priorities. Uses facilitation expertise, consulting skills, and audience awareness to adapt content in real time, address learner needs, and maximize learning effectiveness and business impact.
Partners with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify capability gaps, recommend learning solutions, and integrate leadership development, team effectiveness, coaching, and consulting practices into the learner experience. Coaches and mentors facilitators, promotes facilitation excellence, and drives continuous improvement in learning delivery, learner engagement, accessibility, and performance outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Works to achieve operational targets with significant impact on learning, leadership development, and organizational capability outcomes.
2. Directs and reviews the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training curricula, learning programs, leadership development solutions, and related learning experiences that support business objectives and teammate development.
3. Analyzes learning and capability needs and develops innovative solutions to address skill gaps, leadership development priorities, and organizational challenges.
4. May deliver or adapt learning, leadership development, team effectiveness, coaching, or consulting solutions for a range of audiences, including senior leaders and executive populations, depending on business needs and role assignment.
5. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to identify objectives, assess participant and business needs, and ensure learning solutions are relevant, impactful, and aligned with organizational priorities.
6. Manages the delivery, implementation, and administration of learning programs, leadership initiatives, coaching engagements, or related development activities to ensure high-quality participant experiences and outcomes.
7. Collaborates with third-party providers, vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure quality, effectiveness, and alignment with learning and development objectives.
8. Monitors, evaluates, and reports on the effectiveness, business impact, and outcomes of learning and development programs and recommends improvements to enhance performance and results.
9. Maintains learning documentation, program records, content, and materials to support compliance, program administration, knowledge management, and continuous improvement efforts.
10. Leads or supports learning and development projects, programs, and processes, including the integration of learning technologies, platforms, and delivery methods to improve accessibility, scalability, and effectiveness.
11. May contribute to the development of new learning programs, leadership solutions, coaching offerings, participant materials, facilitator resources, and other learning assets and tools.
12. May mentor, coach, or provide guidance to teammates and stakeholders while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and learning quality expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience. For teammates assigned to the Truist Leadership Institute, a master’s degree in Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Studies, Counseling, a related field, or equivalent education and related experience is required.
2. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in learning and development, leadership development, instructional design, organizational development, consulting, coaching, human resources, education, or related functions.
3. Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, training program management, learning delivery, and learning effectiveness practices.
4. Strong facilitation, interpersonal, presentation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills in in-person, virtual, or blended learning environments.
5. Ability to manage complex learning initiatives, adapt solutions to business needs, and exercise professional judgment when working with varied audiences, stakeholders, and confidential information.
6. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, as business needs dictate.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Current experience supporting and executing sales leadership and service excellence training programs preferred.
2. Advanced graduate degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Leadership Studies, Education, or related field
3. Experience in the financial services industry
4. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, such as SuccessFactors
5. Experience with eLearning development tools, such as Lectora or Captivate
6. Professional learning delivery, instructional design, coaching, assessment, team coaching, or leadership development certifications
7. International Coaching Federation coaching certification or equivalent executive coaching credential, where applicable to role assignment, or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
8. Project management experience or Project Management Professional certification, where applicable to role
9. Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and processes
