Who we are looking for

A candidate who is required to solve problems and provide assistance and guidance to the Corporate Actions.  Achieving quality of service is a team effort and the Corporate Actions needs to function at all times as a team player and ensure that other members of the team do so. We are looking for suitable candidates in Krakow.

What you will be responsible for

An excellent opportunity has arisen at the Associate 1 level within Corporate Actions which involves carrying out a high risk function within the operation. The successful candidate’s responsibilities primarily include accounting transactions in Investment Books of Records (IBOR) for respective allotted clients for Global market events within a Middle Office environment. This will also involve working closely with Global (Sub) Custodians around the entitlement confirmation process on behalf of a diverse client base.

 Role  Responsibilities :

  • Assist team members with daily workload.

  • Account transactions in Investment Books of Records (IBOR) for respective allotted clients and reconciling entitlements.

  • As assigned process and/or resolve complex issues such as, but not limited to, analyze and research Corporate actions across the globe

  • Ensure effective risk management by completing assigned task with highest accuracy  and ensuring timely escalation if required.

  • Act proactively on projects and initiatives aimed at improving the corporate action product.

  • Identify areas where a process can be automated.

  • Assist with procedural changes to the current process.

  • Deliver effective client service.

  • Adhere to hybrid work arrangement – work 3 days from office per week.

Key Knowledge/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Corporate Actions knowledge is an advantage

  • Knowledge of Swift Messaging Standards is an advantage

  • Good in written and spoken English

  • Knowledge of financial instruments

  • Knowledge of Custody Banking

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package

  • Educated to a degree level (preferred)

Please Note: This role requires a minimum of 3 days of working from office .

Minimum Salary:

zł60,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
