As an HCP Engagement Ambassador, you will act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, patients, and stakeholders, both before and after engagements. You will address onboarding challenges, facilitate contract requests, and manage complex inquiries with professionalism and service orientation. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will be part of our Risk and Compliance team, focusing on regulatory risk compliance. You will confirm adherence to regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance strategies, helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Within our Business & Supply Chain Operations practice, you will support the transition of engagements to post-engagement team members, addressing questions related to payments and compliance reporting requirements. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities

- Acting as the primary contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs), patients, and stakeholders throughout the engagement process
- Addressing onboarding challenges and facilitating contract execution between HCPs/HCOs and internal signers
- Reviewing contract redline requests and escalating to Legal for further review when necessary
- Supporting invoice and payment queries, confirming timely communication with business owners and stakeholders
- Facilitating travel requests and coordinating logistics between HCPs and travel agencies for non-cross-border engagements
- Handling complex inquiries from external experts with professionalism and compliance awareness
- Assisting in the transition of engagements to post-engagement team members, addressing questions related to payments and compliance reporting
- Utilizing compliance frameworks and regulatory standards to guide clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes
- Conducting risk analysis and compliance audits to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks effectively
- Implementing compliance programs and training to promote adherence to regulatory requirements and governance standards

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in life science meetings & events, pharmaceutical, device or healthcare setting working with HCPs, HCOs or Patients
- At least 3–5 years of experience within healthcare provider engagements
- Required fluency in English and Mandarin/Thai/Vietnamese

- Strong understanding of HCP engagement compliance and regulatory environment both domestically and internationally, preferably experience with obtaining country or institutional authorizations, as applicable, including working knowledge of Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), FCPA, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and EFPIA/PhRMA codes

- Significant customer service experience, with ability act as a liaison across multiple stakeholder groups and to consistently deliver “white glove” service.
