Location: Northampton, NN4
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience  
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am – 17:30pm

We’re looking for an organised and people-focused Junior Recruiter to join our growing Northampton team. This is a varied role where you’ll provide essential administrative support throughout the recruitment process, helping candidates receive a smooth, professional service.

You’ll be someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working at pace and communicating confidently with a range of people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the recruitment process from vacancy creation through to candidate placement and onboarding.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and candidate appointments.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records.
• Prepare and issue job adverts across relevant platforms.
• Manage incoming applications and assist with candidate screening.
• Liaise with candidates, clients, hiring managers and internal teams.
• Complete right-to-work checks and other pre-employment documentation.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork.
• Keep recruitment systems and databases fully up to date.
• Help ensure vacancies are progressed quickly and efficiently.
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

 

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Minimum 2 years within an admin and or office role.
• Confident communicating by phone, email and in person.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
• Professional and approachable when dealing with candidates and clients.
• IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Previous recruitment, HR, administration or customer service experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
