Summary
Data Analyst opportunity focused on turning raw data into meaningful business insights. In this role, you will collect, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, uncover trends and patterns and present your findings in ways that help leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with proficiency in data visualization tools and excellent communication skills – able to make complex data clear and actionable in support of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI,
Tableau, or Excel. - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide
actionable insights. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports.
- Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to data collection and management
processes. - Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning through data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools.
