Description
Volunteering is a fantastic way to support your local charity while meeting new people, learning new skills and having fun.
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our dedicated team at our new Bitterne Shop. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or more, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
The role may involve:
- Serving and assisting customers on the till
- Checking donated items are suitable for sale
- Pricing and ticketing stock
- Steaming and preparing clothing for sale
- Replenishing and organising shop stock
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and welcoming
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the shop
- Creating attractive window and in-store displays
We will provide a full induction and training programme, along with ongoing support from our experienced retail team. No previous retail experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
