This role will report to the Head of Application Tactics and Support within the Information Technology department. This role will focus on developing and supporting PanAgora’s Proprietary Applications, and will work closely with PanAgora’s Senior Software Developers, Business Analyst & Development Architect. This position will work on projects supporting Operations, Compliance, Global Equities, and Global Multi-Asset Diversified Risk groups. These efforts will entail working with business leaders, consensus building, heads-down development, and transition management.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide tactical support of business-oriented services, as a primary role;
• Build, enhance & support strategic proprietary tools, as a secondary role;
• Facilitate integration testing of 3rd party tools & data, as demand requires.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

• An undergraduate degree in Technology, Software Development, or relative field is required
• Experience of Microsoft-based technologies, including T-SQL and C# experience is required
• Experience with ADO.NET Entity Framework is desired
• Experience in administering and/or working with Investment Trading Platforms is desired
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based technologies, including Visual Basic (VB6) and Azure DevOps (ADO) are desired
• Understanding and experience developing Investment Management systems is desired
• At least 1-5 years of Application Development experience is required
• Strong analytical capabilities in combination with strong application development and database skills
• Ability to collaborate directly with business users
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve, and detail driven
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Collaborates, drawing others into the work at hand
• Works well in a close team environment
