•    Interpret compensation agreements, policies, and business rules, and approve exceptions or adjustments with significant financial or operational impact.
•    Lead compensation and billing technology initiatives, including system selection, implementation, optimization, automation, and process modernization efforts.
•    Develop and maintain strong financial controls that support accuracy, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
•    Partner with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and executive leadership to support strategic business initiatives and organizational growth.
•    Lead, develop, and mentor the Commission & Billing Manager and team members, establishing a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
•    Evaluate capacity, organizational structure, and resource needs to ensure the department can support future business expansion and increasing transaction volumes.

Scope of Responsibility
•    Executive accountability for all advisor compensation and billing operations across the organization.
•    Oversight of the reconciliation, approval, and distribution of approximately $85 million in annual advisor compensation payments.
•    Direct leadership of the Commission & Billing Manager and indirect leadership of a team responsible for compensation and billing administration.
•    Ownership of compensation, commission, and billing platforms, including future-state technology strategy and system implementation initiatives.
•    Authority to independently approve compensation exceptions, policy interpretations, and operational decisions within established governance standards.
•    Responsibility for operational processes that directly impact advisor satisfaction, financial reporting accuracy, revenue administration, and organizational growth.
•    Accountability for maintaining effective financial controls, minimizing operational risk, and ensuring scalability of compensation and billing operations.

Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

•    Demonstrated expertise in advisor compensation, commission administration, billing operations, financial controls, and revenue-related processes.
•    Proven experience leading enterprise-scale compensation, billing, revenue operations, or financial operations functions with accountability for large-dollar financial transactions.
•    Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and make complex business decisions involving financial, operational, regulatory, and advisor impact.
•    Experience leading technology implementations, operational transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and process automation efforts.
•    Proven success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
