The Naples Bay Club is seeking an accomplished, highly visible, hospitality-driven Club General Manager to lead its private membership club operations. Reporting to the Managing Director of Naples Bay Resort & Club, this executive will oversee the member experience, financial performance, team culture, and day-to-day operation of the Club.
Naples Bay Club serves as a lifestyle and amenity anchor for Naples Bay Resort, supporting club members, resort guests, cottages, residences, and marina ownership through an integrated private-club experience. Its amenities include an extensive pool complex, tennis, fitness and spa services, member dining, and recreational offerings.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Club General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of Naples Bay Club. The position is responsible for delivering a distinctive, contemporary club experience while supporting the broader vision and objectives of Naples Bay Resort & Club.
The successful candidate will be a visible and approachable leader who builds trusted relationships with members, develops high-performing teams, and creates a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This leader will balance the traditions and expectations of private-club membership with the service standards, creativity, and operating discipline of luxury hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Experience and Club Leadership
- Serve as the visible executive leader of the Club, developing meaningful relationships with members and maintaining an active presence throughout club operations.
- Create a welcoming, personalized, and service-focused environment that anticipates member needs and strengthens member loyalty.
- Seek, evaluate, and act upon member feedback to continually improve the club experience.
- Partner with the Managing Director to establish the Club’s strategic direction, annual priorities, service standards, and operating objectives.
- Protect the exclusivity and privacy of the member experience while supporting appropriate integration with the resort, residences, cottages, and marina.
- Promote a vibrant club community through relevant social, culinary, wellness, recreational, and lifestyle programming.
Operational Oversight
- Provide executive oversight for membership operations, food and beverage, spa and wellness, fitness, pools and recreation, tennis and racquet programming, retail, and club facilities.
- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, service, and operational readiness throughout the Club.
- Establish clear operating expectations and ensure effective coordination among Club departments.
- Evaluate current programs, amenities, and service delivery, identifying opportunities to elevate quality, relevance, and member participation.
- Partner with resort leadership to create a seamless experience across the Club and the broader property.
- Support the successful planning and execution of club improvements, renovations, capital projects, and new programming.
Financial and Business Performance
- Assume responsibility for the Club’s financial performance, including annual budgeting, forecasting, revenue generation, expense management, labor productivity, and capital planning.
- Review financial and operating results regularly and implement appropriate actions to improve performance.
- Develop strategies to grow and retain membership while strengthening the value proposition of the Club.
- Partner with membership, marketing, and resort leadership to effectively communicate the complete club lifestyle.
- Increase participation and discretionary spending by creating relevant dining, wellness, recreational, and social experiences.
- Ensure that staffing levels, scheduling, purchasing, and operating practices align with member expectations and financial objectives.
- Maintain effective controls and ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
Food, Beverage and Social Experience
- Provide strategic direction for the Club’s dining and social experience, positioning food and beverage as a central part of member engagement.
- Partner with culinary and food and beverage leaders to ensure consistent quality, compelling programming, financial discipline, and excellent service.
- Develop dining concepts, member events, and culinary experiences that encourage increased participation and strengthen community.
- Maintain a visible presence in dining venues and at club events, actively engaging with members and gathering feedback.
- Balance operational efficiency with the personalized service expected in a luxury private-club environment.
People-First Leadership
- Recruit, inspire, coach, and retain a talented leadership team and engaged associate population.
- Establish clear expectations and hold leaders accountable for service, financial, operational, and cultural results.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS
- Progressive executive leadership experience in a luxury private club, lifestyle club, yacht club, high-end residential club, resort club, or comparable membership-driven hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated responsibility for complex club operations and multiple operating disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of private-club membership expectations, member relations, service delivery, and lifestyle programming.
- Meaningful leadership experience in food and beverage operations, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and financial performance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop department heads and cross-functional operating teams.
- Experience driving membership satisfaction, retention, engagement, and participation.
- Strong business judgment, financial acumen, communication skills, and executive presence.
- Ability to balance personalized member service with operational consistency and financial accountability.
- Experience leading through organizational change, repositioning, renovation, or service transformation is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Club Manager designation or comparable professional certification is preferred.
