The Product Associate focuses on product innovation and evolution—supporting roadmap development, identifying opportunities for new features, services, and experiences, and translating clinical, client, and market insights into actionable product direction.
You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and concept development through to pilot execution, launch, and post‑launch refinement. This role works closely with clinicians, operations, marketing, technology, finance, and analytics to ensure assessment products evolve in line with Medcan’s clinical standards and strategic priorities.
This role reports to Head of Clinical Innovation, with primary focus on Medcan’s Assessments portfolio.

- Bring together data from multiple sources (clinical, client, operational, financial, and external research) to support evidence‑based product decisions
Business Case Development & Financial Analysis
- Partner with Product Management, Finance, and Analytics to develop concept briefs, value propositions, and business cases for new or evolved assessment offerings
- Build financial and scenario models to evaluate feasibility, pricing implications, and value creation potential
- Monitor business performance for the assessments portfolio, including KPIs and budget performance, and support issue resolution as needed
Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
- Develop clear, compelling materials to align stakeholders on product opportunities, trade‑offs, and recommended paths forward
- Support strategic initiatives and executive‑level materials, including roadmap summaries, product strategy narratives, and ET/Board presentations
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to ensure alignment from concept through execution
Requirements
Education & Background
- Undergraduate degree required; preference for candidates with a science, health, or clinical‑adjacent background (e.g., life sciences, health sciences, biomedical science), paired with strong business or strategy experience
- Graduate training in Business, Health Management, or a related field is an asset
Experience & Skills
