Details:

• This is a Part Time position for Morning shifts starting as early as 6:30am
• 15 hours per week
• The hourly wage for this position is $18.63/Hour

Location:

Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. 

This position is on site at the Parkwood Location in Vernon

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be performing food service and cleaning activities at Parkwood Retirement Resort within established guidelines and procedures as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional conduct, grooming, and appearance according to resort standards.
• Serve food and beverages for all meals, events, and catering functions.
• Prepare and serve specific food items, such as breakfast items.
• Set up, clear, and break down Food and Beverage areas for events and meals.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and store them properly.
• Restock dietary supplies, unpack groceries, and ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Foster a team environment and maintain positive interactions with staff and other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of Resident and organizational information while supporting their well-being.
• Reports damaged or inoperable equipment, furniture and fixtures to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Assist with new employee orientation and perform other related duties as assigned.

• Related Food Service experience an asset.

• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
