## Your Responsibilities

As a Engineer SSL/CTL Engine Cooling and Auxillary for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engine suppliers to design engine auxiliary, fuel, air and cooling systems that meet customer needs for the mid frame skid steer portfolio.
  • Lead design and specification development for engine cooling and engine auxiliary systems in new product programs.
  • Diagnose engine and cooling issues during new product development and support PV&V engine & cooling test activities.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, durability, cost, and schedule targets, and support validation activities including builds, testing, field evaluations and production launches.
  • Support early-stage concept development through the integrated systems delivery process.

## What Skills You Need

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within cross-functional and culturally diverse teams.
  • Experience using Creo, SolidWorks, or similar modeling software to develop and evaluate design solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data, evaluate alternatives, and make data-driven decisions to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Foundational knowledge in engines, engine auxiliary systems and/or cooling components, cooling systems, and the associated designs, analysis, testing, or quality.
  • Experience with product development methodologies.

## What Makes You Stand Out

  • Familiarity with off-road equipment in Construction, Forestry, or Ag industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Cross-functional engineering experience and collaboration
  • Experience troubleshooting off road equipment especially engines, cooling, and/or engine auxiliary systems
  • Experience with analytics software such as KULI, MATLAB, or nCode.
  • Experience using engineering workflow tools such as PDMLink and SAP.

## Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering. Others may apply.
