Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, virtual, and onsite training on Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) for customers and stakeholders.

• Plan, coordinate, and schedule training programs to ensure effective delivery and optimal use of training resources.

• Develop new training programs and continuously review and enhance existing course materials, exercises, and learning resources.

• Maintain training facilities, equipment, course schedules, website content, brochures, and other training-related materials.

• Engage with customers to understand their training requirements and recommend suitable training and learning solutions.

• Prepare training proposals, quotations, and other supporting documentation, and follow up on customer training enquiries.

• Support local and regional training programs and deployments as required.

• Collaborate with regional and global training centres on training initiatives, competency development, and standardization of training practices.

• Keep up to date with developments, technologies, and best practices in industrial automation and control systems.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, process control, DCS, SIS, instrumentation, or related control systems.

• Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Modbus and OPC.

• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity concepts will be an advantage.

• Experience in technical training, customer support, application engineering, or a related customer-facing role would be advantageous.

• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Good customer engagement and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to travel locally and regionally when required.
