Description

Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.

At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.

We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

At Lyten, we're building more than advanced battery technology. We're building the future of energy. As we scale our manufacturing operations in Poland, we're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician who will help establish and develop our quality laboratory while supporting both new product introduction and serial production.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing organization where you will have a real impact on how quality processes, measurement systems, and laboratory standards are built from the ground up.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Lab Technician, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and traceability of measurements that support production quality at Lyten. You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, perform dimensional and material testing, and play a key role in establishing the laboratory function during the ramp-up of our manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine and non-routine laboratory measurements, inspections, and analyses using various testing and measurement equipment
  • Operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), including developing and maintaining inspection programs
  • Conducting dimensional inspections, weld strength testing, and cross-section analyses
  • Performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and calibration activities to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability
  • Managing and coordinating the calibration process across the organization during the current ramp-up phase
  • Maintaining calibration records and ensuring compliance with calibration schedules
  • Supporting preventive maintenance and proper operation of laboratory equipment
  • Coordinating external calibration and service providers where required
  • Performing technical cleanliness analyses in line with applicable standards
  • Preparing clear and accurate inspection and measurement reports
  • Supporting Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams through data analysis and interpretation of results
  • Participating in the development and maintenance of quality control plans
  • Supporting root cause investigations and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as PDCA
  • Contributing to the launch of new production lines by developing measurement methods and inspection processes
  • Supporting the transition from ramp-up to stable, long-term production through sustainable laboratory processes and standards
  • Promoting quality culture, continuous improvement, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant working environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Technical secondary or vocational education
  • Previous experience working in a quality laboratory environment within manufacturing
  • Experience operating and programming CMM equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • Practical knowledge of measurement equipment and testing techniques, including microscopes, tensile testers, weld testing, and cross-section analysis
  • Experience performing equipment calibrations and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of structured problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA
  • Fluent Polish and communicative English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to work in a shift-based environment as operations continue to grow

Nice to Have

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in a start-up, scale-up, or rapidly changing manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Technical Cleanliness requirements according to VDA 19.1 and VDA 19.2
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Experience with WCM tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, and PDCA
  • Knowledge of Power BI

Who You Are

You thrive in an environment where things are being built, improved, and scaled. You don't wait for perfect processes to exist—you help create them.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organized, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable taking ownership and accountability
  • Curious, eager to learn, and driven by continuous improvement
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Passionate about quality and operational excellence
  • Ready to grow together with the organization and take on increasing responsibility over time

Why Join Lyten?

  • Opportunity to help build a world-class manufacturing operation from the ground up
  • High level of ownership and impact from day one
  • Dynamic, international work environment
  • Career growth opportunities as the organization expands
  • Participation in innovative and sustainable technology development
  • A culture focused on safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and purpose-driven work

Join us and help shape the future of energy manufacturing through quality excellence.
