Role: System Support Analyst
Type: Hybrid based near our Northampton office - weekly attendance expected
Full Time / 37.50 hours per week / Monday to Friday
Salary: £DOE

Purpose of Role:
The purpose of this role is to support the Business and IT team with system implementation and support. The role will act as the subject matter expert for systems. You will liaise with the business and vendors to manage any system changes, releases or updates for both small and large cross functional changes. The role and work will be varied and gives the opportunity for someone to not only contribute to the growth of our business, but also to develop their own skillset and further their career.

Responsible for:
Build up knowledge and become the SME for various systems (how they work and how they are used etc)
Learn, understand and support the end to end system change lifecycle (Bright Horizons and vendor)
Learn about the tools used by Developers or vendors to manage change
Facilitate workshops with the business, users and/or vendors and ensure findings are documented
Manage a system change pipeline and change log. This will mean liaising with business owners, system users, service desk, developers, training and vendors
Collect data, carryout research, analyse information and document findings
Follow through on system support issues to ensure they are raised correctly and resolved
Map processes, write procedures and create project documentation
Gather, document, verify and analyse business requirements and business rules
Complete gap and impact analysis
Support UAT activities by helping to develop and refine test plans, test cases and test scripts. You will also need to analyse test results, escalate any issues and raise any risks
Support implementation by working on plans, rollout schedules etc
Produce clear and concise documentation to help convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
Provide SOX, audit and compliance support as and when required. This will mean running the weekly user access checks, gathering evidence for auditors (internal and external), attending audit reviews and answering questions on system user access.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with different areas of the business and with vendors
Experience Desirable:
Prior experience of working within a nursery setting would be an advantage

Has an analytical mindset and can be versatile when it comes to problem solving
Not afraid to ask questions and is able to question/challenge users at all levels with confidence

Has a flexible approach to their role and the work undertaken
Can be hands on when required to get the job done
