We’re seeking passionate and experienced Lead Educator and Casual Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Mitchelton, located at 8 Sussex street Mitchelton, on a full-time & part-time basis. You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.

What you’ll do - Lead Educator

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and center policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences

What you'll do - Casual

• Create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive

• Support fun and meaningful learning experiences based on children’s interests

• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider team

• Assist with daily routines, learning experiences and maintaining a high-quality environment

• Bring flexibility, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to child safety and safeguarding across the centre

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Lead - Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Casual - Certificate III or Diploma, or working towards an approved qualification
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Current - Working with Children Check for QLD
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
