You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and staff with professional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet systems to document observations and support site operations while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.
Duties Include - Mostly standing for long periods of time and foot patrol interior/exterior of a large warehouse.

- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and access concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Assist with access control, opening and closing support, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
