Your Impact as CNO
As Chief Nursing Officer, you will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and provide strategic oversight for all nursing services throughout the hospital.
You will:
- Drive nursing strategy, quality outcomes, and operational excellence
- Mentor, develop, and inspire nursing leaders and frontline teams
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, state, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee staffing models, workforce planning, and nursing resource allocation
- Partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Monitor quality metrics and champion continuous performance improvement initiatives
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, compassion, and patient-centered care
- Influence executive decision-making and support long-term organizational strategy
- Lead employee engagement, retention, and nursing leadership development efforts

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or mental health nursing strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or commensurate experience required.
- 10 + Years of RN experience preferred
- Six years registered nursing experience required.
- Nursing leadership experience in a freestanding psychiatric hospital strongly preferred.
- Prior CNO/DON experience strongly preferred
- Two years behavioral health experience as and RN in an inpatient psychiatric setting required
- Three years of progressive nursing management or administrative nursing experience required.
