Associate - MY CoE Tax (Singapore)

Responsibilities: 

You will work as part of a team that manages our multi-national corporation clients’ tax compliance and reporting needs.  

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of client engagements including monitoring the progress and deliverables of our clients’ tax filing obligations across many jurisdictions to ensure that the tax returns are filed on a timely basis  

• Follow up with the respective engagement teams (including overseas) to find out the progress of the return and ensure that the web based technology is kept up-to-date  

• Performs periodic status reporting to clients and the Manager  

• Collaborate with people across our business units in Tax, our Lines of Service and our network of firms  

• Coordinate with the regional and global PwC network firms on client issues  

• Support development of work proposals to client 

• Liaise with technology team to support issue resolution and enhancement update for web based technology 

• Able to troubleshoot, identify and escalate issues as appropriate to the Manager  

Requirement: 

Education 

• Recognised diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field. 

• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates may apply. 

Skillset 

• Meticulous, analytical and independent  

• Good communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable to work virtually across borders with a wide network of people  

• Ability to understand processes and open to using new technology systems  

• Self-motivated, proactive and a good team player  

• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multi-tasks  

• Well versed with Microsoft Powerpoint, Sharepoint and Excel 

• Ability and willingness to learn digital skills to achieve effective work delivery
