- Data entry and processing of cash receipts thru paper checks, ACH, credit card processing. Currently processing approximately 1,200 payments monthly.
- Monitor bank transactions and reconcile customer remittance advice to deposits
- Continuous dialogue with the accounting team regarding skipped invoices, duplicate payments, over payments, short payments, misapplied payments, missing or inadequate remittance advice, and any other matters requiring additional research.
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable to assist with sending statements/invoices, following up on skipped invoices, sending requests for payment, verifying billing information with new customers, etc, as needed
- Advanced computer skills with experience in Google Suite and Microsoft Great Plains preferred
- Ability to adapt and participate in a collaborative customer-focused work environment
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Results focused, self-motivated individual
- Focused and deliberate attention to details
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related business field. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication, research, problem solving and time management skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
