OFFICE MANAGER
Grasslands Recruitment Specialists has been engaged to recruit an Office Manager for an opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day administration of a grain elevator while providing administrative support to multiple locations within a growing agricultural organization.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE OFFICE MANAGER
The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day office administration at the Fillmore location while providing administrative and coordination support to Elevator Managers across multiple Harvest locations.
This role will coordinate inbound and outbound grain logistics, maintain communication with growers and carriers, and manage documentation related to grain receiving, procurement, inventory, customers, and suppliers. The Office Manager will also maintain grain, seed, costing, and operational information, prepare and reconcile cost sheets, compile reports, and help ensure information and administrative processes remain organized and consistent across locations.
Success in this role will require strong organizational and computer skills, attention to detail, agricultural knowledge, and the ability to manage several priorities while providing dependable follow-through.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?
- Previous experience in grain administration, agricultural operations, commodity handling, or a related environment is strongly preferred
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working with grain or seed cost sheets, operational records, inventory, or similar agricultural business information is a strong asset
- Strong spreadsheet and data-entry skills, including Microsoft Excel, with confidence learning new systems and processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with growers, carriers, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Agricultural knowledge is strongly preferred; related post-secondary education is considered an asset
