What makes this role exciting

As an Associate Corporate IT Engineer, you will provide prompt resolution of global technical support to our end user base at a rapidly growing rate of 1400+ employees and develop the Corporate IT estate of applications and hardware. This will involve contributing to the global business goals and maintaining one standard IT solution that is required to evolve the growing technology tools. As part of the role, it is a requirement to be self-sufficient, work effectively in a fast-paced environment on day-to-day support tickets, asset management, and application subject-matter expertise, and participate in small projects.

You will become a regional support contact for a range of IT incidents and requests supporting a variety of technology throughout the CloudPay estate.

This role requires being on-site 3 days per week

Main responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to our global user base via remote tools and face-to-face.

  • Proactively be responsible for global IT support in troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

  • Take ownership of the build process of our laptop configuration for your region

  • Manage any IT peripherals (printers, phones, audio-visual equipment, desktops & Laptops)

  • Participate in small project activities as directed by IT Management

  • Liaise with external suppliers for hardware purchases and application renewals.

  • Place IT security at the forefront of your mind with the least privileged approach.

  • Operate and maintain business-as-usual IT systems.

  • Become a technical subject matter expert for assigned applications/services, providing improvement opportunities, license management and escalations.

  • Work with the management team to make suggestions to optimise the use of IT Equipment and Applications

  • Maintain the asset management system to ensure we have 100% accuracy.

  • Operate with one global IT Corporate Standard

Experience needed for this role

  • Relevant experience within an IT support background with previous usage of a Helpdesk/ Ticketing System •    

  • Solid understanding of Windows 10, 11 & Windows Server Operating Systems

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Office 365 Suite and admin tools

  • Administration of business applications

  • Active directory / Azure Active Directory / Group Policy

  • Good Appreciation of Cyber-Security including Two factor authentication (MFA

  • Asset Management

  • Laptop and Desktop Experience

  • Printer Maintenance

  • Helpdesk/ Ticketing System previous usage 

  • Cloud-based telephony.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
