Description
The Quality and Maintenance Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the plant's quality and maintenance strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, the availability of production equipment, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. They lead the Quality, Systems, AQP, Supplier Quality, Process Quality, Maintenance Engineering, and Facilities teams, establishing continuous improvement plans focused on reducing PPMs, scrap, poor quality costs, downtime, equipment failures, and maintenance costs. They act as management's representative to customers, certification bodies, and external auditors, guaranteeing the correct application of quality tools, risk management, and world-class maintenance methodologies.
•Define and implement the plant's quality strategy. • Manage the Quality Management System. • Serve as management's representative for IATF 16949. • Lead management reviews. • Manage internal, external, corporate, and customer audits. • Ensure compliance with specific customer requirements. • Approve PPAP, process changes, and product releases. • Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, PDCA, Shainin, and Six Sigma methodologies. • Ensure the effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. • Develop strategies for reducing PPM, scrap, and COPQ. • Manage supplier quality and development plans. • Represent the voice of the customer within the organization. • Define and manage the plant's maintenance strategy. • Ensure the availability and reliability of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. • Lead TPM and world-class maintenance initiatives. • Manage critical spare parts inventories. • Administer maintenance contracts and external services. • Define contingency plans for critical equipment. • Manage technology upgrade and automation projects. • Coordinate machinery transfers and installations. • Monitor maintenance performance indicators.
Industrial Engineering or a related career, desirable master's degree, Advanced English Level.
