We are seeking a Contractor to join our cross-border payments team on a temporary basis.

Role Overview:

As a Contractor you will perform cross-border payments duties as allocated by the business unit on a temporary basis.

Are you someone who can:

• Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work related resources
• Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve own performance
• Manage and complete assigned tasks and activities as per agreed contract
• Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards
• Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialisation
• Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

• Banking Related Degree.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Any experience in foreign exchange or customer service roles within the financial sector will be an added advantage

Knowledge:

• Foreign exchange products and transaction processes
• Exchange rates, currency handling, and FX pricing basics
• Exchange control and AML requirements applicable to FX transactions
• Customer service and sales principles

Technical Skills

• Cash and currency handling
• System capture and record keeping
• Accuracy and numerical competence
• Customer engagement and communication
