Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Airport Customer Service Representative in Durban, South Africa. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, responsible for providing excellent service to all passengers and ensuring their needs are met during their time at the airport.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome passengers as they enter the airport, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere

- Assist passengers with check-in, baggage drop-off, and boarding processes

- Answer any questions or concerns passengers may have regarding their travel plans

- Provide information on flight schedules, gate changes, and other relevant airport updates

- Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

- Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of passengers

- Assist passengers with special needs, such as unaccompanied minors or passengers with disabilities

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked

- Adhere to all airport security and safety regulations

- Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and exceed service standards

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous customer service experience is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearances
