About the role
The Facility Sanitation Worker is responsible for general cleaning performed in the St. Louis GMP processing areas.
Role Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning in the plant as assigned.
Maintain and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
Occasional maintenance and operation of facility equipment.
Operate all types of cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pneumatic tools, pressure washer and buffer.
Follow SOP’s, change control / validation processes, and adhere to established cleaning programs for GMP compliance
Perform other duties to support the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the Plant operations.
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
Identify and report any potential safety concerns or hazards.
Respond to internal customer needs and/or requests professionally, effectively, and efficiently.
Comply with all Safety, EHS Standards, State and FDA regulations and OSHA regulations.
Comply with all local and corporate policies and procedures.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED is required.
Must possess basic math skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift more than 25 lbs.
Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
Able to function productively with minimal supervision
Detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a production, industrial and/or GMP environment is highly desired.
Location – this role is based in: St Louis, MO
Shift: Mon-Thurs 6a-4:30p
