The Replenisher is also accountable for the stock level, quality for products within his/her scope and responsible for the operational execution of inventory replenishment from suppliers
What does your day look like?
1. Main areas of responsibility:
- General responsibilities
Depending on the composition of the team and the time, the exact job content may vary but generally will be a combination of the tasks listed below :
o Placing orders (review purchase requisitions/DA) and operational follow up of supply (order acknowledgment, direct shipments , ...), ensuring goods are delivered on time, expediting supplier deliveries by all means to avoid backorder and eventually manage delays in collaboration with goods-in department
o Operational stock management of assigned categories
o Administration of supply for assigned categories/suppliers
o Operational maintenance of supply parameters
o Ensuring stock level is fully optimized by setting accurate MRP parameters, considering new products/no movers/slow movers/overstock/delisted products/temporary promotions
o Inventory review and management of overstocks
o Operational follow up of suppliers
o Operational follow up of inventory
o Operational alignment with MKT
o Establishing specific processes and owner for a number of suppliers and/or product sections (e.g. managing slow moving & dead stock, managing the supplier performance metrics and animation,…)
o Managing suppliers, evaluating their service level (SSL), setting up action plan accordingly and following up action plan (claim compensation)
o Sharing forecasts with suppliers to reduce supplier lead time and facilitate SSL target achievement
o Analysing the root causes (RCA) of backorder and turn results into a continuous improvement action plan in order to minimize the impact on customer experience and cost
o Collaborating with marketing at operational & tactical level to optimize inventory quality and organizing Review meetings with marketing to identify / address supply issues.
o Optimisation of supply chain conditions in contracts (lead time, lot size, identification, ASN, ..)
o Might be involved in the control supplier invoices
o Dealing with supplier litigation and planning supplier returns when necessary
The mix and proportional distribution of these tasks will be determined by the requirements, ad hoc.

2. Main relations or co-operation:
Communicating and providing information with Demand Planner, Demand & Supply Planning Manager, Supply Chain Director, Marketing / Customer Service / Finance / Goods In departments and Suppliers.
Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships
Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Who are we looking for?
Professional qualifications:
Bachelor or higher
Initial experience/knowledge of supply chain (retail sector preferred)
Superior proficiency in Excel (pivot table, matrix, etc.)
PC literate Word / PowerPoint / Outlook
SAP
Language knowledge : French and English are a must. Dutch is a plus.
