Key Accountabilities:
Enterprise Design & Business Architecture:
- Enterprise Design: Define, evolve and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) integrating people, process, data, and technology.
- Process Engineering: Lead end-to-end business process reengineering (BPR), to simplify and digitize key workflows across the value chain, applying Lean Six Sigma and systems-engineering principles to eliminate waste and complexity.
- Data & AI Enablement: Embed analytics, automation, and AI into core workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.
- Operational Excellence: Establish design standards, metrics, and telemetry to drive continuous improvement and value realization.
- Innovation Leadership: Identify, pilot, and scale intelligent automation and digital capabilities that deliver tangible business impact.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Align stakeholders across business units, shared services, and technology to ensure cohesive execution and sustained adoption.
Data, Digital & AI Enablement:
- Partner with Digital, Data and Technology leaders to embed analytics, intelligent automation, and AI into the fabric of operations.
- Identify high-value opportunities where data and AI can enhance performance, speed, and client experience.
- Ensure operating models are data-centric, AI-ready, and insight-driven, supported by strong governance and telemetry.
- Advocate for responsible, ethical AI use in alignment with enterprise standards and controls.
Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement:
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and systems-engineering methods to eliminate inefficiencies drive operational excellence and eliminate friction.
- Build and maintain standardized design frameworks, metrics, and telemetry to monitor process performance.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage engineering principles, such as systems design, root-cause analysis, and iterative optimization, to build sustainable performance improvement.
- Define key performance indicators, dashboards, and feedback mechanisms to monitor process health and adoption.
- Establish reusable frameworks and playbooks to accelerate future design and optimization work.
- In partnership with Transformation & Change teams, lead the change enablement required for successful adoption of new operating models, processes, and digital capabilities.
- Develop stakeholder engagement strategies, communication plans, and behavioral adoption metrics.
- Partner with business, HR and communications teams to build change capability and sustain results post-implementation.
- Ensure designs translate into measurable user, client, and colleague impact, not just conceptual models.
Stakeholder Leadership & Execution Alignment:
- Operate as a trusted connector across business, operations, and technology, ensuring end-to-end alignment. Strong business acumen & strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical & non-technical stakeholders
- Influence senior leaders to make evidence-based, data-driven decisions that link strategy to measurable outcomes.
- Orchestrate execution across multiple initiatives and dependencies with clarity and discipline. Govern delivery interlocks to ensure alignment of design, investment, and execution.
- Champion innovation, engineering thinking, and accountability across functions.
- Commercial awareness of market & industry trends.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in business architecture, process optimization, or enterprise design in financial services: insurance, banking, or consulting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Engineering, Systems Design, Computer Science, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) design, business process reengineering (BPR), and data-enabled optimization eg. strong understanding of the insurance value chain: distribution, underwriting, claims, policy servicing.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of AI, intelligent automation, digital platforms, and enterprise data architecture.
- Exceptional analytical, facilitation, and executive communication skills; able to translate between business and technology audiences.
- Experience embedding change management in enterprise process or system redesigns.

Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $164,200 to $328,300.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
