Senior Key Account Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts by building strong relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth while ensuring a positive client experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts
Identify and acquire new business opportunities
Generate revenue and achieve sales targets
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Deliver a positive and professional client experience across all interactions
Provide exceptional client service and support
Complete sales administration and maintain accurate records

Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Food Technology
5–6 years' relevant experience
Technical sales experience in microbiology and/or chemical services will be advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's licence
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Target-driven with strong sales and relationship-building skills
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
Adaptable, flexible, and innovative
Professional, confident, and able to work effectively within a team
