Production Manager (Yachting)

The Role

Leads and coordinates all production activities throughout new-build yacht projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.

Manages multidisciplinary production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors while working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Control to ensure the successful execution and delivery of yacht projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production plans, schedules, delivery milestones, and work packages for yacht projects.
• Lead and coordinate paint, yacht outfitting, piping, mechanical, machinery, HVAC & insulation, electrical, interior, and carpentry production activities.
• Organize production sites and coordinate resource allocation across multiple yacht projects.
• Monitor production progress, man-hours, quality performance, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between all production disciplines.
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors while monitoring technical specifications, deliveries, and production performance.
• Work closely with the Project Management team to implement project execution plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and quality development.
• Support yacht launching, commissioning, sea trials, and delivery activities from a production perspective.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams while resolving operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, environmental regulations, company policies, and class requirements.
• Regularly report production performance, project risks, resource requirements, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of production experience in the shipbuilding industry.
• Proven experience in new-build yacht production, including paint, outfitting, and multidisciplinary production management.
• Applications from candidates without shipbuilding experience will not be considered.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource management, subcontractor coordination, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, people management, planning, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Other Requirements

• Based in Antalya or willing to relocate.
• Willing to travel internationally when required.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
