About the job 

As Product Owner for Finance IT, you lead the development and implementation of digital solutions for the finance organization. Acting as a strategic partner, you identify opportunities for digitalization, ensure integration of new technologies, and drive initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability across finance processes. 

Job responsibilities 

• Drive digital initiatives from concept to execution using agile ways of working 

• Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to align solutions with business goals 

• Lead change management and support adoption of new digital tools 

• Monitor outcomes and report progress to senior stakeholders 

• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and stay within agreed scope 

You join our IT for Group Functions team, responsible for driving IT and digitalization for Sandvik’s corporate functions such as HR, Communication, Legal, and Finance. We manage application portfolios, lead digital transformation, and support our group functions in shaping their roadmaps.  

Location  

The position is based in Stockholm or Sandviken. 

Your profile 

You bring a strong foundation in IT and digital technologies and enjoy working where business and technology meet. With experience from large organizations, you’re comfortable leading complex transformation initiatives and navigating multiple stakeholders. 

Your background includes 

• Experience driving digital transformation within Finance IT 

• Strong understanding of finance-related processes and systems 

• Experience with ERP solutions, including SAP 

• Knowledge of digital technologies such as cloud, data analytics, AI/ML or IoT 

• A relevant academic degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or similar 

You’re collaborative and communicative, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear direction. A solution-oriented mindset helps you focus on business value, while your leadership style builds trust and engagement across teams.
