We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Commercial in Worcester as a Senior Client Advisor. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least four days a week in the office.
The role: Senior Client Advisor
We have an exciting opportunity here at Marsh Commercial, as we’re looking to recruit a Senior Client Advisor to join us in our Enterprise Centre of Excellence. Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products.
As a Senior member of the team, you’ll act as the first point of contact for Client Advisors’ technical queries and provide support to the Team Manager as needed.
We will rely on you to:
- Service your own dedicated book of clients, including renewals, invoicing, collections, new quotes, mid-term adjustments, and day-to-day client queries.
- Identify, document, and deliver revenue growth opportunities through upselling/cross-selling and proactive portfolio development.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client decision makers and stay aligned to changes in their organizations and needs.
- Develop strong working relationships with insurers and support clients and/or claims teams where appropriate to ensure excellent outcomes.
What you need to have:
- 2+ years’ experience as an Account Handler / Client Advisor within General Insurance.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously and deliver to agreed service standards.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with strong literacy, numeracy, and administration capability.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
- Full competence in Microsoft Office products.

- Knowledge of insurance systems (Acturis preferred/ideal).
- Cert CII (or progress toward it).
- Broad technical understanding across major classes of insurance and a demonstrated interest in keeping up with product/market developments.
