Description

The Corporate Web Publisher is responsible for updates, modification, creation, and publication of web pages on our corporate website (NXP.com), with prior analysis of compliance to corporate guidelines. The role also encompasses SEO/AEO best practices and the use of AI-powered tools to optimize content discoverability and publishing efficiency.

The publisher utilizes corporate and external tools to follow the proper processes during the full publishing cycle, from receiving requests in the ticketing system to executing them in the content management system.

The ideal candidate is someone who not only masters today's tools, but actively brings new knowledge and emerging practices to the team, helping elevate the group's capabilities and ways of working as the web publishing landscape continues to evolve rapidly.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Support requests for implementing updates and new changes to NXP.com, including documents, software, web pages, videos, and graphics
  • Web launch support to introduce new products to the market
  • Review large volumes of content to identify non-compliance with corporate guidelines and propose corrections
  • Perform quality assurance testing throughout the entire development process
  • Report system issues and support testing in code changes accordingly
  • Involvement in major corporate projects such as content migration, content clean-up, microsites, etc.
  • Constant communication with peers and extended team on project and request status
  • Apply on-page SEO principles (metadata, structured data, internal linking, keyword usage) to published content
  • Implement AEO strategies to ensure content is well-structured and discoverable by AI-powered search engines and LLMs
  • Leverage AI automation tools to streamline publishing workflows, content auditing, and quality checks
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities where AI-assisted processes can reduce manual effort and improve consistency

Knowledge/ Skills

  • HTML 5.0: new elements and attributes, character entities, and framework integration
  • CSS3: selectors, advanced styling attributes, media queries, flexbox, and grid layouts
  • JavaScript: ability to create custom functions, event handling, and DOM manipulation
  • UI, acceptance, browser, and functional testing; debugging processes
  • Good understanding of back-end technologies
  • Proven experience with any Content Management System (CMS)
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO: meta tags, structured data (Schema.org), canonical tags, and content hierarchy
  • Familiarity with AEO concepts: optimizing content for featured snippets, AI Overviews, and conversational search engines
  • Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics) to monitor content performance
  • Ability to interpret SEO/AEO data and translate it into actionable content improvements
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for content generation, optimization, or auditing (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar)
  • Ability to design or follow prompt-based workflows to automate repetitive publishing tasks
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms or scripting to reduce manual steps in the publishing cycle
  • Openness to continuously adopt new AI tools as they emerge and apply them to day-to-day work
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills
  • Self-driven and able to work well under pressure
  • Commitment to on-time deliveries

Forward-Looking Profile

Beyond technical execution, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong data-driven mindset, interprets performance metrics, understands why content ranks or doesn't surface in AI-generated responses, and translates that into action
  • Understands structured content principles, knows why content architecture (Schema.org, semantic entities, knowledge graphs) matters as much as the content itself, especially for AI discoverability
  • Can design and operate agentic AI workflows, goes beyond using AI tools individually and builds semi-autonomous processes where AI assists in reviewing, classifying, or publishing content at scale
  • Applies editorial judgment to AI-generated outputs, detects hallucinations, brand inconsistencies, and content that passes technical checks but should not be published
  • Demonstrates genuine technical curiosity, proactively explores, tests, and adopts new tools and practices, and shares that knowledge with the team to raise the collective bar

Job Requirements:

  • English: Fluent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or Information Technology)
  • At least 1 year of experience with client-side maintenance using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Experience with web content management systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience in SEO and AEO practices
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional setting required, not optional
  • Experience in project management, testing, and/or customer service is a plus
  • Electronics industry knowledge is a significant plus
  • Database knowledge is a significant plus
