OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Tommie Shops M-H Student Worker

LOCATION: St. Paul Campus

PAY RATE: $16.50/hour

HOURS: Available Shifts Monday Afternoons (12-4pm) Tuesday Morning (10-1pm)

 

Job Summary:

Being employed with the Tommie Shops allows you to work right on campus, work with and meet other students as well as gain valuable customer service experience.

 

The Tommie Shops M-H Student Worker position is for Fall 2026. Applicants should have strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and be self-motivated.

 

Essential Functions:

• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with the purchase of merchandise or services
• Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize product or space within the store to maintain an appealing sales floor
• Assist with processing sales transactions
• Approve and process customer orders
• Retrieve and log out mail for students/staff/faculty
• Occasional lifting
• High-energy, friendly personality, with strong communication skills to interact with a variety of people
• Excellent customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Are you currently enrolled in classes for Fall 2026?

2. Are you available on Monday afternoons AND Tuesday Mornings?

 

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
