Job Responsibilities
Support daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, analytical testing, instrument operation and maintenance, request management, data interpretation, and laboratory facility upkeep.
Develop and optimize analytical methodologies to support new product development across the Qnity business, including photoresists, laminates, metallization materials, and semiconductor cleaning chemistries.
Establish and validate analytical methods for quality control, impurity identification, and raw material/product characterization.
Collaborate closely with R&D teams to provide analytical expertise, enabling formulation development, problem-solving, and technical decision-making.
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience operating analytical instruments such as LC-MS, GC-MS, IC, and other relevant analytical platforms.
Experience in the analysis and characterization of plating baths, dielectric materials, and/or photoresist materials.
Experience with non-targeted screening and fingerprint analysis using Compound Discoverer is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts as required.
Demonstrated initiative, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and the maintenance of a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
