What We’re Looking For:
A detail-oriented Rooms Controller responsible for managing room assignments, coordinating guest preferences, and supporting front office operations. You’ll serve as the connection point between departments to ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience.

What You Will Do:
Oversee daily room assignments for all guest arrivals, VIPs, special requests, and returning guests
Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness
Pre-block VIP and special request rooms using arrival reports and group information
Review and resolve duplicate reservations, no-shows, and due-outs daily
Monitor and update Out-of-Order and Out-of-Service room statuses
Track and process amenity requests (rollaways, microwaves, cribs, etc.) and ensure accurate billing
Monitor all master accounts for proper check-in, check-out, and extension as required
Ensure all room changes are processed and communicated accurately to the appropriate departments
Assist Front Desk during high-traffic periods and provide guest service support as needed
Prepare and distribute daily reports including occupancy, arrivals, departures, and group status
Forecast room availability up to three days in advance and help manage overbooking risk
Communicate all guest preferences, special services, and group requirements clearly to operations teams
Assist with remote or group check-ins, rooming lists, and special block arrangements
Maintain a clean and organized back office and ensure readiness of supplies
Maintain regular and reliable attendance in alignment with company standards and operational needs
Embrace flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals
Other Responsibilities:
Regular attendance in conformance with standards
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Regularly lift up to 40 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk
Stand for extended periods during shifts
Your Qualifications Include:
Minimum of 1 year of front office or reservations experience in a hotel environment
Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive responsibilities
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
