Dispatch/Warehouse Supervisor

We are currently hiring a Dispatch/Warehouse Supervisor to work in our Neenah, WI location. This position is best suited for an individual with extensive communication skills, ability to delegate tasks successfully, and experience being a positive role model and leader.

WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?

• Ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective delivery of all customer and branch orders.
• Address/resolve all daily delivery problems.
• Evaluate delivery fleet and recommend equipment changes/modifications to maximize delivery effectiveness.
• Assist with training for delivery drivers and material handlers.
• Manage all DOT records for drivers and enforce compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment and ensure all work is completed in adherence to safety & security policies, guidelines and legal regulations. Investigate any accident or safety violation, prepare appropriate reports, take action steps to correct and prevent future occurrences.
• Coordinate maintenance of all material and loading equipment.
• Hire, train, coach, counsel and appraise delivery drivers and material handlers.
• Meet performance goals for accuracy, productivity and customer service as defined by Operations Manager.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

• Minimum of three years' experience to include specific knowledge and skills in delivery and warehouse operations in a distribution setting.
• Must have at least three months of past lead or supervisory experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Requires good understanding of traffic rules and regulations; roads, freeways and local layout. Ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.
