Description

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for establishing and leading organizational projects.   You will work cross-functionally to ensure projects are executed effectively and on time, while also streamlining processes and functionalities that can improve the operational effectiveness of the organization. You must be comfortable managing multiple projects on tight timelines in a complex and matrixed organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Accountable for defining, planning, managing, and delivering a given project.

  • Directs complex projects often involving business, operational and IT deliverables.

  • Rigorously manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters.

  • Partners with Finance to validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.  

  • Define and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on a project plan.

  • Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan and related project artifacts.

  • Continuously documents and communicates project issues, milestone, and updates to project stakeholders.

  • Manages and escalates project risks and issues when necessary; identify solutions to remedy issues when possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business, Technology or related business field of study or equivalent experience.  

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 5 years of program/project management experience

  • Demonstrated successful management of large-scale projects

  • Demonstrated competence in project management skills and related experience in relevant fields.

  • Customer-centric mindset

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasionally the ability to walk and stand is needed. Often reaching with hands/arms is necessary. Most of the time sitting, use of fingers/hands to feel, and talking or hearing needed.

  • Occasionally the ability to lift up to 20 pounds is needed.

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) required.

  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

  • May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.
