Why this role matters

The Balance Management Specialist is responsible for executing PSP balance management and settlement operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in daily processes. This role operates with a good level of independence, applying professional expertise to manage daily operations, resolving non-standard discrepancies, and contributing to stable and effective financial operations.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • Monitor PSP balances and execute daily settlement activities.
  • Initiate transfers and ensure timely settlement finalization.
  • Maintain accurate records and update settlement reports.
  • Monitor liquidity levels and flag any potential issues.
  • Execute complex settlement tasks with high autonomy and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies and delays.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk issues when required.
  • Communicate with PSPs and vendors on operational matters.
  • Follow up on pending transactions and resolve routine issues.
  • Support smooth day-to-day vendor interactions.
  • Follow established processes and internal controls.
  • Identify minor inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Support implementation of process updates when required.
  • Perform KYT checks and follow risk management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
  • Escalate any suspicious or high-risk transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on balances and settlements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of discrepancies and operational trends to apply professional judgment.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in payments, settlements, or financial operations.
  • Experience in online industries (forex, fintech, payments, or gambling preferred).
  • Experience working with PSPs in an international environment is a plus.
  • Good understanding of settlement processes and PSP operations.
  • Basic knowledge of financial risk management principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to apply professional expertise and make independent operational decisions.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented approach.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Communicates with PSPs and internal teams on daily operational matters.
  • Coordinates with Payments, Risk, Finance, and Treasury teams.
  • Escalates issues to Senior Specialist or Team Lead when needed.
