An investment organisation focused on the development and asset management of energy and infrastructure projects, supporting the transition towards more secure, cost-effective and lower-carbon energy systems.

The organisation works across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and development through construction, operation and long-term asset management.

Role Description

The Development & Asset Manager will oversee the end-to-end development and ongoing management of energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in line with commercial and performance objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project pipelines and development opportunities across multiple projects.
  • Coordinating feasibility studies and multidisciplinary technical workstreams.

  • Leading engagement with project partners, investors, regulators, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring the performance of operating assets and identifying opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Analysing asset and project performance data to support decision-making.
  • Managing commercial and operational contracts and relationships with key counterparties.
  • Supporting investment and development decisions through financial and commercial analysis.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise energy output, asset value and financial returns.
  • Managing competing priorities across a portfolio of projects in a fast-moving environment.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience in project development, project management or asset management within the energy, infrastructure or related sectors.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of decentralised energy, renewable energy or infrastructure systems, including grid connections and relevant UK planning and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with project models, performance data and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with investors, local authorities, technical consultants, project partners and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach, with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with standard office, project management and digital collaboration tools.
  • A degree in engineering, energy, finance, business or a related discipline, although relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Desirable Experience

Prior experience in the asset management, operations or performance optimisation of energy or infrastructure assets would be advantageous.

Location & Working Arrangements

The role is based in Central London on a hybrid basis, combining office, project/site and home working.
