Position                                               : Executive Engineer

Department                                         : Production (Briquette)

Responsibilities:

• The job holder is responsible for the operating areas of Briquetting Plant. This includes all activities from arrival of raw materials, taking of raw materials from the stock and preparation for production, carrying out of production per the production plan, carrying out of the on line visual verification of quality, housekeeping of the working areas
• To secure that all works and tasks of the department are carried out per valid working rules and environmental laws. Minimise all fire risks inside of the responsibility area. 
• Secure that all employees of the Production Department have the right education, training and certificates to be allowed to fulfil the job functions in respect with the laws of India and Gujarat.
• Secure there are clear goals and strategies for the department, supporting the overall goals and strategies for RW-IN. Secure clear agreements and overall frames with other departments.
• To secure that production costs are optimised and that new proposals for cost savings in the production area are being created, reported and implemented
• To secure the correct registration of the production key figures and other statistics and their presentation at agreed time to the superior within the responsibility of the position.
• Responsible for executing the production, preparation and cleaning activities in a safe and efficient manner and according to the established planning schedules.
• Responsible for planning of the department’s activities and co-ordination with other departments.
• Check and follow up on the Production Key Figures and setting up of activities to keep the budget level.
• Check and follow up on the Energy Key Figures and setting up of activities to keep the budget level.
• Securing that the work made by the department is in accordance with the established budgets and on agreed quality level.
• Responsible for delivery of goods and services of agreed quality.
• Responsible for keeping the machinery of the department in a good condition from safety and maintenance point of view
• Responsible for housekeeping of the area of storage of racks, briquettes and coke.
• Responsible for operation and housekeeping of the rod mill plant.
• Responsible for operations with milled wool and fly ashes.
• Responsible for the operation of the briquetting plant
• To secure good housekeeping, preparation for production and cleaning of the production areas starting from unloading of raw materials to pack or palletised products including the area of wool waste treatment. 
• Responsible for planning and execution of the weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning and preparation for production tasks.
• Responsible for the call off function for external companies performing regular cleaning tasks during the maintenance stops.
